The founder along with a core team of engineers and industry
professionals, have conducted years of research and analysis of industry
needs and technological advances to develop such a solution. Houston,
Texas, the birthplace of Micro-News Network, has a great number of
threat conditions partly due to its close proximity to the petroleum and
chemical industries. This was the springboard which led to the hosting
of Micro-News Network in Houston. Micro-News Network Crisis
Communication and Emergency Messaging Services are now available to
business, industry and governmental agencies.
Micro-News Network's emergency communications system does not depend
upon telephones, electricity or the Internet, which fail during
emergencies. Micro-News Network utilizes a private wireless network,
which provides critical emergency alerts to targeted areas and groups of
people more reliably, more rapidly, and more effectively.
Our interoperability and integration with emergency response teams before, during, and after terrorist attacks, blackouts, and severe weather provides key information to people even while other systems are down due to weather, lack of electricity or other conductivity.
MNN's information service SNAP-COM (Smart News Alert Pak) transmits the information either directly to MNN's devices or indirectly via a wide range of third party devices (i.e. cell, pager, or PDA).
MNN's vision is to provide a comprehensive service solution to business, industry and governmental organizations.
